After they were elected by acclamation, the new CDS Board of Directors met on June 11, 2019, the responsibilities were distributed among the members as follows:
Mohamad Abou Hamdan: President
Amin Younis: Vice-President
Rima Elbaradei Zahreddine: Secretary
Akram Aboucharaf: Treasurer
Souheil Elhalabi: Director of Cultural & Public Relations
Amir Zebian: Director of Fund Development (FD)
Mirna Bitar Zebian: Director of Social Activities (SA)
Officers at large: Saed Abouchakra, Dr. Bachir Aboulhosn, Giath Hamdan, Ziad Yehia, Sarah Abi-Chahine.
Walid Alawar : Honorary President
The new board discussed new ways to increase memberships and are working on a plan to provide more benefits for the CDS members. Our Plan of work for the next two years will be sent out to you shortly. It is full of activities, programs and events. All such events can never succeed without the active participation of each and every one of you. Help us support our Society and Centre. Bring your Children & Youth to all functions and help us into getting them involved. Also, if you have any concern, idea or feedback about any event taking place at the CDS please feel free to contact any board member.
The new Board would like to take the opportunity to thank the previous Board of Directors and officers at large for a job well done. We look forward for their continuous support.
We count on you to make this year another great year in building and growing our community.

بعد فوزها بالتزكية في الإنتخابات , عقدت الهيئة الإدارية للجمعية الدرزية الكندية في تورنتو إجتماعها الأول بتاريخ ١١ حزيران ٢٠١٩ برئاسة أكبر الأعضاء سناً . وقد وُزِّعت المسؤوليات بين أعضائها كالآتي :
محمد أبو حمدان : رئيساً
أمين يونس : نائباً للرئيس
ريما البراضعي زهر الدين : أمينة للسر
أكرم أبو شرف : أميناً للصندوق
سهيل الحلبي : مسؤولاً للعلاقات العامة
أمير ذبيان : لجنة المال والتبرعات
ميرنا بيطار ذبيان : لجنة النشاطات الإجتماعية
المستشارون : سائد أبو شقرا , د. بشير أبو الحسن , غياث حمدان , زياد يحيى , سارة أبي شاهين.
وليد الأعور الرئيس الفخري للجمعية الدرزية.
وأجمعت الهيئة الجديدة على الإشادة بما قامت به الهيئة السابقة من نشاطات لتعزيز وضع الجمعية . وشدّد المجتمعون على أهمية تنشيط عمل الجمعية بما فيه إنعاش وضع الجالية من حيث الحضور والمشاركة أولاً, ومن حيث الإستمرار في المحافظة على قيمِنا وتقاليدِنا وروح التآخي بيننا ثانياً..
كما توقفت الإدارة الجديدة عند الأرقام الضئيلة للمنتسبين للجمعية وبحثت في برنامجِ عمل يعزز التفاعل مع الجمعية ويزيد عدد المنتسبين إليها ويعطي ميزات لدافعي الإشتراك بينهم.
