To all our Druze brothers and sisters:
On September 24, 2016 the CDS Young Adults Committee will be hosting its first ever Camp Day. The goal of this event is to help the youth in our community bond with each other and to help build the foundation for long lasting friendships. We hope that everyone leaves the event having met one new person that they would want to hang out with outside of organized Druze events.
Your CDS Youth Committee has been working hard to organize a series of team bonding activities for the day, including the following:
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Ice breakers
12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: lunch
1 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Potato sack race
2 p.m. – 5 p.m.: volleyball / soccer / badminton
5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: dinner
6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: tug-of-war / musical chairs / dabke / limbo
8 p.m. – 10 p.m.: bonfire and s'mores
Lara Yehia has kindly agreed to host the event at her 10 acre property located at 5790 Halls Rd, Whitby ON. This event will be free although we encourage you to make a donation, however small or large, as all funds will be reinvested into future events.
Please also note this event will be alcohol and argileh free.
For any questions, please free to contact anyone on the CDS Youth Committee, including Ziad Yehia at firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to see you all there!
