Dear community members,
Due to the atrocities that have affected our community in Hadar and surrounding villages in Syria, we have received urgent requests for humanitarian help from our religious leaders abroad.

In response, Druze Chapters across Canada have launched a National Fundraiser to collect donations to support the families that have lost loved ones and those that are affected most.

Monetary donations will be collected by local Chapter executives in Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa & Toronto until December 25 (Christmas Day), with the aim of delivering all donations directly to the families by New Year’s Day. Chapters are also exploring the possibility of the Federal Government matching all donations, effectively doubling the amount fundraised.

In Canada, the holidays are a time of love and family – please consider donating this season to help our brothers and sisters in Syria who have lost so much and are in desperate need of food, clothing, petrol and other essentials to survive the cold winter months. The monies collected will only be used for the purchase of such goods, and a certified tax receipt will be provided for all donations of $50 or more.
