It is with great sadness & a heavy heart that we inform you of the peaceful passing of Mr. Salim Assaf on Dec 28, 2024 in Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Salim Assaf was a widower of 12 years, married for over 50 years to his late wife Nahil Bashir, and a dedicated father to his son Rabih, and daughter Randa, and a proud grandfather to his grandchildren Yara and Karam. Mr. Assaf is survived as well by his brother Mr. Salah Assaf, his son-in-law William Rosas, and his daughter-in-law Nihal Haider, and many nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Toufic and Nazirah Assaf, brother Fouad Assaf, sisters Montaha Eid, Mahassen Alkamand, Jamal Alkamand, and Noha Assaf, as well as his brothers in law, Izzat, Ali, Salim and Samir Bashir.
We pray to God that He would take him under His wings, and that Paradise would be his final resting place.
May he be reunited with my beloved late mom in heaven.
