Attendees from Outside Canada

Planning to join us from abroad? Here are some helpful tips:

• Visa Requirements: Ensure you have the correct travel documents to enter Canada. You may need a visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Visit Canada Immigration – Visitor Visa Information for details.
• Travel Tips: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the main airport. We recommend booking airport transfers or ride-share services in advance.
• Local Transportation: The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) offers buses, subways, and streetcars. You can purchase a PRESTO card or use contactless payment.
• Accommodation: See below for nearby hotel options with booking links and discount codes.

Currency & Payment Guidance

• Canada’s currency is the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
• Most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) are accepted everywhere.
• Contactless and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay) are widely available.
• For cash withdrawals, ATMs are available at the airport and throughout the city.
